WHERE: Milo McIver State Park, Steelhead Group Tent Site
About 30 miles south from downtown Portland and a bit north of Estacada, Milo McIver is a large park on the Clackamas River with hiking, biking & equestrian trails, campsites & boat ramps.
Directions to Milo McIver State Park:
From I-205, take Highway 224 to Estacada. Turn south on Highway 211 and go 2 miles. Turn right on Hayden and go 1 mile. Turn right onto Springwater and go 1.5 miles to park entrance.
- Park offers horseshoe and volleyball rentals as well as rental and sales of discs.
- Vehicles and trailers must have all wheels parked on the paved parking pad
- Biking is allowed only on paved areas of the park.
- Motorized scooters are not permitted in the park
- Helmets are required for anyone under 16 who are riding bicycles, scooters, skate boards or roller blades.
Notes about the campsite:
- This group tent area will accommodate up to 50 people!
- The site can accommodate a maximum of 15 vehicles - please coordinate with others who are planning on attending!
- Only 1 recreational vehicle. No hookups are available. All other RV's must use main campground as sites are available.
- There are 3 flush toilets that are shared with Group Camp Chinook, located between the two group camps.
- Shower facility is located in the main campground.
- There is no electricity in this area.
- Possession of alcohol is prohibited for anyone under 21 years of age. No keg beer allowed.
